1. How We Protect Our Members
We employ a multi-layered approach to prevent and detect fraudulent activity on TrueBrides.com.
- Supplier and Member Verification: We work with local third-party suppliers who are responsible for the initial registration and verification of many members on our platform. As outlined in our Terms of Use, these Suppliers are contractually obligated to verify each member's identity and confirm their genuine intention to find a partner. This includes checking identification documents to confirm their name, age, and marital status.
- Prohibition of Financial Requests: It is a strict violation of our policy for any member to request money or financial assistance from another member. Our support and anti-scam teams actively monitor communications for such requests.
- Content and Activity Monitoring: Our teams regularly review site activity and user-generated content for red flags and patterns that may indicate fraudulent or inappropriate behavior.
- User Reporting System: We rely on our vigilant community. We provide easy-to-use tools for members to report any suspicious profiles or behavior. Every report is investigated promptly by our team.
